Question:

Can rabbits survive harsh heat?

I had two rabbits a couple of years ago but that was in a different country. Now my dad is allowing me to get them again as long as they stay outside. The problem is I live in the Middle East and it gets scorching hot and Im pretty sure if I put rabbits out in the backyard, they'll roast. What should I do? I really want them. Also, which birds can survive hot and dry conditions?

  1. well i would not put them out in the heat because they would not be used to it and they could get sick out there but to get them used to it you could take them outside your house for a little bit then keep doing it and will get used to it

  2. Rabbits get heat stroke very easily, and it can kill them within minutes. If you live in very hot conditions, then it wouldn't be a good idea at all to house your rabbits outdoors. If you really want them, then you'll have to find a way to talk your dad into housing them indoors. Good luck
