You can't feed any animal candy at all, everyone should know that. You shouldn't feed chips or anything similar as well. I don't think you want your rat to get sick, do you? Stick to healthy foods. And you just said yourself, "as an unhealthy treat", if it's not healthy, don't feed it! And if you are unsure, don't feed it!

No, this is a bad idea. Your rat doesn't NEED licorice. If you really want to give her an unhealthy treat, try a broken-up cookie or something she won't choke on.
