Can red light make you angry?

I live in a house that has central Buddhist shrine. Surrounding the shrine are several red lights. It appears, if one entertained, that this light is directed (via mirrors, reflected surfaces, etc) towards my bedroom. I am generally a calm, patient person. But in the couple months I've lived in the room, my anger seems to skyrocket. Any thoughts?

Something like that would bother me too, especially because its unnecessary.

My thought would be to unplug the light or adjust the mirror slightly.

If other people in the house are sensitive to the shrine, just explain your feelings about the situation. I would hope that a mirror can be adjusted or something.
