Can redheads wear red lipstick?

Question

I have red hair (deeper red than strawberry blond, but not orange-y).

Can I wear red lipstick? If so, what type of red would you suggest?

awww i love that hair colour..yea it will look gorgeous! do red lipstick and put eyeliner on the top of your eyelid..it will look really feminine.

I'd go with a coral pink or mauve.  not red.  Red is reserved for the Clowns at the circus.

You can wear whatever you want; just make sure that your makeup is tasteful and that you're comfortable with it.

P.S. Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to wear a shade that's the exact color of  your hair. Try a darker red, darker than your hair shade.

Well i would suggest light pink or light red

i think dark lipstick ( if it is too dark ) doesnt look very nice

you dont want it to match your hair

i think as long as ur not white white and u have a little color to you you'd look awsome!

but if ur really pale id stay away from it..it often looks like to much.

I have mousy brown hair and I don't think it suits me, personally. I think it looks better on black haired or blonde girls. As long as you feel confident in it, though, it will suit you
