  1. yes you can vote in a primary election, take your voter registration card along with a photo ID displaying the address where you live.  If you don't have a card, take your ID or driver's license with you. IF you have any problems contact the Elections Supervisor of your area.

  2. I want to vote in the primary...

  3. The rules vary by state, but generally if you are registered you can participate.

  4. Certainly.  The election authorities will send you information in the mail about the candidates and issues, and how to cast your vote.

  5. As long as you had your registration form submitted before your state's deadline, you will be eligible to vote in your state's Primary Election. You can find the deadline date along with the date of the Primary on this site (http://www.declareyourself.com/voting_fa... ). When you registered, you might have received a voter registration card/i.d.; if you did, it will list what polling place you should go to on Election Day. If you don't know where to go, go to the above website which will then direct you to your state's Secretary of State's office. They will be able to tell you where you can vote.

Be aware, though, that many states do not allow Independent/unaffiliated voters to vote in the Primaries/Caucuses. If you are an Independent, check with your state to make sure you can vote.

  6. Well, you have to be registered to vote in a primary. You'll have to consult your Secretary of State to find out the specific rules and dates relevant to your location.
