  1. nothing has been shown so far. i use to work in a lab that studied this years ago until the money dried up since we weren't finding anything (in Sac. cer. at least)


  2. There is no good evidence that electricity causes pathological changes to DNA.  It has been studied in the U.S. and in Europe.  So far, electricity is deemed to be safe.

  3. I'd say that it's theoretically possible.  However, the power required to do genetic damage would damage much more than just DNA.  

  4. ANy constant exposure to any type of energy can cause an increase of mutation.  Electricity (contained in wires in the house or office)

    is not considered a particularly dangerous source of increased mutation.  Electromagnetic radiation is, though.

    If you meant getting shocks from touching live wires, no, not really.

    Living inside a major geneatring plant full time, yes, slightly.
