Can scarlet fever begin with sore throat and high fever? ?

My kid has high fever for more than 3 days. ( about 40). I went to the doctor and she said it's just a tonsillitis.Can it develop to scarlet fever later?

    It gives you a clear indication on what to look for as, scarlet fever is caused by the group A streptococcus bacteria, however, not all children will develop Scarlet Fever when they contract strep, however, you should take your child back to the doctor and they should check for the strep virus, as complications can arise.
