    A yes would be the problems of poisonous pesticides like DDT being replaced with Organic pesticides and insect predators.

    A no would be what do we do with the Nuclear waste leftover after we make electricity.

    some problems can be solved, some remain unsolvable.

    nuclear power plants have been in existence for over 30 years, yet we still have no real solution of what to do with the spent fuel rods.

    Scientific advances help curb pollution, which was itself created by scientific advances.

  6. Only to a certain extent; the killer bees for example, and if genetic engineering goes wrong; it could be cataclysmic. Also think about Chernobyl: kids nearby are still suffering as a result.
