Can scoliosis make your heart beat a little slower?

  1. Scoliosis can be a symtom of Marfan Syndrome which does cause heart problems, check out the National Marfan Foundation www.marfan.org to see if you have more than two of the characteristics and if you do than print it out and show it to your GP. If you meet the criteria than you need to have some tests done by a Cardiologist.


  2. I don't know because I have minor scoliosis and my heart rate dosent beat any slower.

  3. I can't say I've ever thought about it.  My own heart isn't going slower.

    Since scoliosis is a bone disease, I can't see it affecting the nervous system, except for when the curved bones pinch one or more nerves.
