  1. By definition, eggs are not flesh, there for, not meat. HOWEVER, eggs ARE most definitely, without a doubt, an animal product.

    1. The edible flesh of animals, especially that of mammals as opposed to that of fish or poultry.

    2. The edible part, as of a piece of fruit or a nut.

    animal tissue considered esp. as food: a: flesh 2b; also : flesh of a mammal as opposed to fowl or fish b: flesh 1a; specifically : flesh of domesticated animals

  2. Technically, yes.

    Scrambled eggs are not themselves meat, but they are produced by something is meat; they are the product of something that is meat. Therefore, a meat product.

  3. I would have to say no, as meat is the muscle tissue of an animal but the egg is well an egg, a part of the reproduction cycle, I think it can only become a meat product if a baby chicken hatches out of a fertilised egg, but since we dont eat those ones!

  4. no

    because eggs are unfertalized

    Gabi is being confusing

    hes saying that if you add ham or something to the scrambled eggs, then it is a meat product. but the eggs themselves are NOT a meat product.

  5. Yes Egg in any form is a Protien(meat)

    Nuts, Legumes, Cheeses.

    If you are looking for Veggie protien sources

    her's a great article by Dr. John McDougal on the subject;

  6. Unfertilized eggs are not meat. an egg you get from the supermarket is a meat product (things made by animals:milk, eggs, honey...)

    Meat is the body of an animal. If you have scrambled eggs with body of animals in it then the dish is meat, but the egg still is not meat. (just mixed with meat)

    Hope I helped.
