  1. this man is done. he doesn't suck, his prime is just over. the only players i could consider "dominant" are lebron james and kobe bryant.

  2. No, his time is up.  He doesn't have the skills anymore

  3. yes buh not on da pheonix sunz....maybe on da netz hu need sum frontcourt help

  4. The beauty is that in Phoenix, he doesn't have be the dominant player he once was.  His role will be to clog the middle, rebound, and get his 15-20 points per game.  The Suns are now Amare's team, with Nash controlling the point and Hill helping out.  Shaq just needs to fit in well with the team and collect another ring.

  5. I doubt. He is done. He should retire and swallow up his pride. I respect Shaq, but it's over for him..

  6. no, he doesnt need to be.  even though hes no where near the player he was, he still will commend attention even with stoudamire and nash on the court.  he wont dominate, but h**l be effective, as long as hes not the first option.

  7. The only way Shaq could still be dominant was if they eliminated the offensive three second rule, which would basically just allow him to stand in the lane all day and push his weight around. But even then he'd still have to try to get back on defense. If he can stay healthy, Shaq will still be moderately effective this year, probably even putting up a 25 and 12 a couple of times, but the old Shaq is long gone.

  8. Of course! now since he went to the Olympics he will probably be better and a lot more popular.

  9. No, he has been done since his Miami days.  IMO he ruined Phoenix, directly and indirectly.

  10. He is getting too old and his knees are starting to give out. He could play a couple more years and be a decent center, but he will never be dominant again.

  11. I used to say no, but seeing what the trainers and doctors in Phoenix did for Grant Hill's career, I don't know.

  12. I doubt shaq can be still be dominantas before for several reasons.

    1. There are still about like 5 dominant big men in the nba like Yao Ming, Dwight howard, Elton Brand, Tim Duncan, and etc.

    2. Shaq's injury is making him worse which he is frequently getting injured all the time.

    3. Shaq is dealing through struggles of foul trouble, and recovering from the divorce of Shaunie O'neal.

4.Shaq's legs are starting to get weaker due to his age.

5.Shaq is starting to eat more then he does in working out.

    6. Finally, it's hard ot be dominant when Amare and steve nash are on your team since they take away his glory.

    - i hope this has helped with your question

  13. No. He shud retire.

  14. Yes, if you check his stats last year even though he was injured, if u gave him 40 minutes, he can give u 26 points and 12 rebounds. go to nba.com click his name and click game logs

  15. Yes HES A BEAST!!!!!

  16. no he is getting old

  17. He cannot be dominant in the NBA anymore because of age and injuries.  His quickness is fading fast.  He does not have to be dominant on the Suns.  He can be a space-eater and draw a few double teams. He is just needs to average 12 points and 10 rebounds a game.  Remember the Suns have Nash, Stoudamire, Barbosa, and Bell.  Shaq can be the 3rd or 4th option on offense.  Shaq is not the Suns' problem.  Playing team and rotation defense is the Suns' problem.

  18. not if he is only plaing 40 games a season
