I would like to know if siblings living in US affect getting F1 visa?

So this is my case:

1. Both my sisters are in US.

2. one has citizenship and the other is on H4.

3. My parents are going to sponsor my education.

4. I am the only son in the family.

5. Got an admit from a reputed univ.

I would appreciate any kind of help or comments from anyone

  1. You should check with immigration officials to be absolutely certain, but I'm pretty sure that the answer is... no, the status of your siblings should have no impact on your status. The fact that you're the only son is totally irrelevant as well.

But if you've got parental financial sponsorship and an admission from a university, getting an F1 visa should not be a problem.

  2. No the status of your siblings in the United States will not aid nor hinder your visa application. Each application is judged on the applicants own merits.
