Can skunks climb walls?

there was recently a skunk in our garage and somehow it made part of our insalation fall down from the top of the wall. it didn't spray anything

  1. This Skunk didn't climb. Skunks have natural nearsightedness and poor climbing ability which is why they often tumble into window wells and are unable to climb out.

    Was this just an empty wall or did it have shelves or objects that a skunk could climb onto? Because the skunk could not climb an empty wall, but possibly could have climbed onto something and scratched at the top of the wall trying to get out.

    That's my best guess.
