Can smart antenna system implemented in two way radios?

Is it possible for us to implement smart antenna system in a walkie talkie.

depends on what you mean by a "smart antenna".

On a walkie talkie, the antenna is usually marginally better than a dummyload and sometimes a dummyload is better.

if you plan to use in a fixed position, you can try a diversity antenna system, even connect to a yagi.

rememeber that on a commercial radio system, changing the antenna is not legal, as the radio will no longer be FCC certified under some services.
