  1. yep......i think you should stop smoking for your health and the snakes

  2. If you're asking if your smoking will kill the snake, no it won't. I'm sure it's not good for the snake however. Your snake is in an enclosure (I hope) so it's not in direct contact of the smoke.

  3. we rescued two adult blood pythons from some people that smoked (the smoking wasnt the only reason we rescued them).  when we got the bloods they had a bad case of penumonia (sp) that we had to spend lots of money on giving the snakes shots every 3 days and taking to the vet several times...it was expensive and giving blood pythons (one that had a real anger problem) wasn't exactly fun.  the penumonia was brought on partly from the smoking.

  4. you sould have the snake takin away from you if your smokeing around it, my brother burm got sick when he started smoaking in the room wit it and almost died but when he quit smoaking around it recovered

  5. Yes it will.  Just as humans will eventually get sick and potentially die from smoking too much, the snake will be inhaling second hand smoke.  The snake will eventually end up with a lung infection, which are ridiculously expensive to treat .  My burmese python had a respiratory infection and cost $500+ in meds (baytril and vet visits)... and she still died.  Even harder is finding a good reptile vet that knows what he or she's doing, I was lucky enough that I have my sources :)

Not smoking in that room would not work either.  You can still do both, but It'd be best to choose your smoking to be outside your house or the snake in the house.
