I;ll be retiring soon and all the years that I have worked and the Federal

Government is going to GARNISHED my SOCIAL SECURITY for I have

my daughters Student Loans deferred for HARDSHIP, my answer is its

better tobe homeless now adays

It can be for back taxes (up to 15%).

For consumer debt, no.  For back taxes, alimony, child support, federal loans and/or other government agencies, yes.
