burn to cd or dvd sounds like you downloaded ISO files. Good luck

You've downloaded a disc image. Either burn the image to a disc and your program will be there, or you can mount the image in a virtual optical drive such as Daemon Tools:

That way there's no need to waste a disc just to install a program.
