Can some 0ne please help me write an appeals letter for a parking fine?

I had parked my car the previous day in a parking bay, but when I went back to it the following morning my car was gone it had been towed away because I was later informed that my car was parked in a bay that was suspended but when I parked my car there was no signs or notice stating that the bays were suspended until the morning that I went to get my car it looks like that the signs had been put up later on some time. Please some one help me write this letter because it cost me £260 to get the car back because of something which was not my fault in the first place.

  1. You just write ,all that you had said in your question, and add to it favorable comments that make the authorities will be convinced  that your case is a genuine one,and deserve redress

  2. Keep your letter short and to the point. Waffle makes it sound untrue. Good luck.

  3. No need to write a letter. Sorry! You have no proof of when you parked your car there, so unfortunately you will lose. We always do!!!!!!!!!!

  4. just pay up, its best for your health.

  5. Dear To Whom It May Concern,

On this date   (____________________)  I was informed that my car was towed away due to parking in a suspended parking bay. I had a total fine of  $260, for a reason I had not intended on committing. It was a unfair cause due to that I parked my car there and a sign was not there that day.

    From    _________.

  6. There were no signs when you parked and they put them up after you parked, just explain that and they will dismiss the fine, this is not allowed anywhere......

  7. If I were you, I would find out whether they had CCTV in the car park and if it was caught on it. Nearly everywhere has one now, so you should get lucky with that.

Just write explaining exactly what happened as you described above, and say how you think it is an outrage that people should be allowed to get away with this. Demand that you have a response immediately and ask for the name of the senior manager so that you may put in a complaint. Do all this in as polite a way as you can, or you won't get anywhere.

    Good luck!
