Can some die of loneliness?

Can someone die bcuz they are so lonely or do they die quicker?

I'm doing a report on the pigman and I am saying why I think why its not really lorraine's or john's fault that the pigman died and i need three points and for one i was wondering if you could die of lonelines or if it could speed up death.

Please help me! School starts soon and ive been working on this among other projects for a while!
