  1. Yeah you can get infections, and for a few days your tongue is swollen and you can't eat.other than that i don't thin there is anything else.

Oh yea, food can get stuck down the hole so you can't eat while there is no tongue ring there.

  2. to be honest ive never heard of any other than infection. ive had mine pierced for 8 years now and never had any problems

  3. Google body piercing pictures and experiences.  A site called BME will come up.  It has all infor on all piercings inc. pics and experiences.

  4. after you have your tongue pierced you need to use mouthwash for a few weeks every time after you eat to make sure its clean while it heals

i have had mine done 6 and a hald years and never had a problem

the only riskd are obviouslt infection but as the mouth is self cleaning the risk of that is a minimal one

the other risk i got told about was yu can develope a lisp but if you take the tounge ring out that will go away

you tounge ring hole will clear up and be completely gone in around 4 hours after you take it out so even if you go an infection you would take the ring out and clean it or see your doctor for antibiotics i very much doubt anyone has lost a tongue due to a piercing

  5. My Uncle broke two teeth when the ball became unscrewed as he was eating..

  6. can get infected and things like that. i had mine done 3 week ago and it is fine now. the actual piercing doesn't hurt at all its just after wards that it is sore, with the big bar in. once the smaller one is in it's fine.
