Can some one PLEASE tell me your experience with false negative pregnancy tests!!

Question

..if you could tell me how many days late you were or how many days past ovulation you were or w/e details you might have!

I am around 11-12 DPO and tested with a E.P.T /- pregger test this morning and it was negative! My period should come any where from the 13-15...

I knew I shouldn't of tested but I just have a feeling that I know I'm pregnant and that just killed it!

SO if any of you have stories of when you got a false negative but tested to early or something I would LOVE to read it! It would make me feel alot better. Specially since we are TTC after a miscarriage \=

Among women who ARE pregnant, the average first day they get a positive HPT is 14 DPO, according to a major scientifc study of 100,000 women who were pregnant.

Only 10 percent of women get a positive HPT at 10 DPO.

On average, most women don't get a positive HPT until the day their period is due, or at most one day before.

So I think its a wee bit early and you can still hold out hope that you are pregnant. And please don't worry, taking a home pregnancy test too early will not "kill" a pregnancy.  You either are or you aren't.

When I was pregnant with my first baby I knew RIGHT away and did not want to wait to find out.  So I called the OB that I wanted to see. They told me they don't accept patients unless I had a positive preg test so I went to Planned Parenthood and took one and they came back and said I was not pregnant.  I was so sad because I knew, or at least thought I knew that I was pregnant.  So a few days later I took one at home and it was positive.  The Planned Parenthood one was just too soon to pick up the positive result.  So hopefully that same thing is going on with you.  :)

That happened to me . The didnt show positive on a pregnancy test till I was was 2 weeks passed my period  . I was just like ok im not pregnant and then failed to notice I missed my period and tested 2weeks latter and found out I was pregnant all along.
