- What's your budget? Alone? With family?

- What sort of vacation? Fun? Relaxation? History? All?

It all depends... but I'll just list you some places you can go for some fun.

Also, if you have the budget, you can go to one of the Jashanmal bookshops (in Seef or A'ali Mall) and get yourself a copy of "Bahrain Explorer" - make sure it's a new edition cuz there are lots of changes here in the past months/year. I think they sell it for 7 or 8 BD.

It's a little bit expensive, but I believe that it's very useful.

- Seef Mall, Al'ali Mall, Bahrain Mall (Geant), Dana Mall, City Centre (Opening in Sep), Sitra Mall, Marina Mall, Isa Town Mall, Sheraton Al-Bahrain Mall, Jawad Dome (Food Garden), The Centre (Alalawi Mall) in Sanad/Nuwaydrat, Country Mall in Budaiya.

- Capital Mall (for traditional items), it's near Seef Mall.

Make sure to note the following:

- Weather, if you are visiting outdoor places.

- Working hours for the place you are visiting. As they might vary. Malls usually open 10 am to 10 pm, with variations on weekends and during Ramadan.

- The holy month of Ramadan starts September 2nd. Lifestyle changes here a lot during this month. Working hours change. There are some restrictions, etc.
