Can some one help me build a team in pokemon pearl?

Could some one recomend a list of pokemon and moves so i could use it to build up a team. I got a great team but i whant to improve it plese help me.

Well, your team should consist of these key elements:

A physical attacker/sweeper: Someone with a very high attack stat, and preferably high speed. examples: Weavile, Grachomp, Flareon, Arcanine, Machamp.

A Special Sweeper/attacker: Someone with a very high sp. attack stat, and preferably high speed. examples: Porygon-z, Gengar, Mr.Mime, Jolteon, Alakazam.

A Physical Wall: Someone who can take many physical hits. example: skarmory, forretress, probopass, marowak, steelix.

A Special Wall: Someone who can take many special hits.

examples: Blissey, Probopass, Suicune.

A Tank: Someone who can take many hits, but who can also deal out lots of damage. example: Garchomp, Snorlax, Tyranitar, Mew, Blastoise.

And, one pokemon of your choice. Here are some examples of pokemon you might want (I'll list my favourites):

A Cleric: Someone who can use moves like "Heal Bell" or "Aromatherapy" to heal your team of status problems.

example: Miltank, Celebi, Blissey

A Baton Passer: (My personal favourite) Someone who can pass on stat boosts with the move "Baton Pass". example: Ambipom, Ninjask, Celebi, Girafarig, Umbreon.

A Protector: A pokemon that can use Light Screen, Reflect, or Safeguard to shield their team-members from damage and status problems. example: Claydol, Electrode, Celebi.

A PerishTrapper: A pokemon that can Mean Look and opponent and the Perish Song them to death. example: Mismagius

A RapidSpinner: A pokemon that can rapid spin away any spikes or stealth rocks. example: Clyster, Forretress, Claydol

A Mixed Sweeper: A pokemon that can use both physical and special attacks on an opponent. example: Charizard, Dragonite, Garchomp.

A Spiker: A pokemon that can set up spikes or stealth rocks. example: Skarmory, Forretress, Golem, Cloyster

A Hazer: A pokemon that can use the move "Haze" to negate any stat boosts made by the opponent: Vaporeon

A Pseudo-Hazer: A pokemon that can use "Whirlwind" or "Roar" to send the opponent packing, thus negating any stat boosts. example: Skarmory, Arcanine, Suicune

My personal team is:

Weavile (physical sweeper)

Porygon-Z (special sweeper)

Skarmory (physical wall)

Blissey (special wall)

Dragonite (tank)

Ambipom (baton passer)

You should pick them yourself ^^

But, I would recommend:

Luxray

Torterra

Staraptor

Palkia

Steelix(Or Onix)

Rapidash

Maybe something better than Rapidash, there aren't many fire types/grass types. So it's hard to choose between Chimchar and Turtwig.

But, trade and mix them up, with a variety of types, because you never know what you're gonna come across. Also, a good level is to make them all 50-60, that'll help in the Elite four ^_^~
