Can some one please help me pronounce my family motto? My last name is Carter - Victrix Patientia Duris?

i know its not really MY family motto because coat of arms were given to individuals. but it is handeled pretty loosely in todays society. Please correct me if im wrong

Really I don't understand why you've posted yr last name.

This has nothing to do with how to read the Latin motto.

However nobody knows the exact pronounciation of ancient Romans.

Here in Italy when we read Latin we do use the Ecclesiastical while in other Countries is more popular the Classic. If I had to read "Victrix patientia duris" in Ecclesiastical I would say "Vee-ktr-éex pah-tzee-éhn-tzee-ah dùh-rees".
