Can some one please tell me, is personl pics allowed on here, how do I go about posting them?

Yes, they are allowed. What you'll need to do is upload the pic of your choice to your Y!360 page and set one as your primary photo. Then come back on Y!A and select that option on your profile. Your personal photo should show up then. If you need more elaboration, email me.

yes you can post your own photos on here:

for a photo to be your avatar:

-make a yahoo 360 here: http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=ht...

-save the picture you want to use to your computer

-convert it to JPG if it isn't already

- go to your yahoo 360

- my page

- edit personal photos

-upload the photo

-click 'set as primary' on the one you want to use

- click 'save' to finish

now:

-go to your yahoo answers profile

-click edit my info

-then scroll down till you see the picture settings, click use my 360 photo

-click 'preview'

-click save

now you have your own picture
