Can some one provide me with links to Canadian laws on private businesses’ right to refuse service?

My boss and I are looking for actual links to Canadian laws outlining a private businesses’ right to refuse service. we have several unruly costumers at our place of business and we would like to know that we are in our legal right to refuse service to them.

    Nothing expressly gives a business the right to refuse service.  That's a common law proprietary entitlement.  What you *will* find, if you go to canlii and check out your Province's laws, is some formulation of a "Trespass to Property Act", which gives you power to tell folks to leave your property, and recourse in case they refuse.

    The other thing you'll find is your Provincial Human Rights Code, which prohibits you from refusing service on particular bases (the usual stuff: race, gender, religion, disability, etc).

    There are other limitations, as well.  For example, some professionals are unable to refuse service except for good reasons.  But these are established by a patchwork of statutes, regulations, and professional ethical guidelines.
