If they know enough about programming and hacking then its possible through spyware and such yes, but if you have an anti-virus/spyware (I recommend AVG) then it is alot harder although still possible.

i could but, if u have a mcfree it is really difficult for someone to be snooping around ur computer so, and if there is somoene who is snooping around u will notice that ur computer would be much slower

Yeah. If you get infected, sure that can happen. But here are ways to avoid this from happening.

1. Don't open SPAM mail, only open mail that you know who it is from.

2. Only go to trusted websites

3. Don't use programs like limewire or torrents

3. Be sure to run weekly scans with your virus protection

4. Run weekly scans with your spyware protection

5. It's a good idea to have a firewall up

Yes it's called hacking. They can gain access either through your computer's network address or there are programs that either you install without knowing it or install themselves.
