Church Street has some of the best restaurants in Bangalore:

You'll have a lot of choices there including Mainland China, 3 Quarters Chinese, Coconut Grove, etc.

Then there is Koshy's which has a good smattering of Indian and Western dishes.

Apart from that if you want something North India, try Sahib Singh Sultan at Forum Mall or Samarkand on Infantry Road.

For Italian, there is Fiorano in Koramangala and Olive Beach on Wood Street.

Finally for South Indian food, you should go to MTR at Lalbaug.

I'm surely missing out on a lot of cuisines and restaurants, maybe I could have done better if the question was a bit more specific...
