  1. it means that earthworms-major decomposers-break down all the wastes left behind b y other organisms and then recycle it back into the environment!  :)

  2. It's basically using worm p**p to fertilize plants!

A company called Terracycle uses worm p**p to do this. You can read about it here:

  3. you may have herd of the Massachusettes rycyling buisness called earthworm recyclers??

    http://www.earthwormrecycling.org/

they help buisnesses recycle better and be efficent and not waste time, space and money while doing it.

  4. Simply put it's using earthworms to digest organic wastes.

    There are other benefits.

The castings(worm p**p)makes an excellent soil amendment.

Also the worms themselves can be harvested...Worm meat is 75 percent protein...witch makes it ideal for fish and poultry food...not to mention fish bait.

  5. Earthworm recycling would use earthworms to decompose waste into another usable form.  For example, a compost pile is used to decompose garbage.  Earthworms in this pile aid in the decomposition of the garbage to soil, methane and carbon dioxide.

  6. I believe it's called vermacasting with special worms.  You give the worms organic waste and the worms recycle the waste to produce worm p**p (vermacast) which the plants use it in organic gardens to produce organic grown vegetables.  And the cycle begins again.

  7. earhtwroms are decomposers, and basically they eat dirt and p**p it out and its alot better and has new, better nutrients to help plants grow
