  2. theres this little thing on the right of your bike it looks almost like a p***s and you turn it and gas goes into the engine thus enabling the structure to move faster than is already is.

  3. As you take off on the up ramp you preload with your weight press down on the suspension so that the suspension does not soak up your take off and this will stretch the ability of the bike to jump longer.

If you are hitting a jump too hard and want to reduce overjumping you unweight the bike as it goes up the upramp you let the bike come up to you so that absorbs the upramp so you dont go as far.

  4. Ok, basically practice makes perfect.  Go slow and jump and get your landing down, then work on going faster and getting more air.  Then you can land big jumps really easy.  All it really comes down to is practice.

  5. Faster you go and the bigger the ramp.

The landing is the really hard bit. Cant remember how I learned how to do it, it sort of just happened, started small and got bigger. Broke to many bones as a kid though, so its black side on the tarmac for the last 20 years for me!!

  6. try practicing it on a bmx bike or mountain bike first, that's how i learned to stick the landings better. I still use this to keep myself up to speed in the off season.

  7. jumping is the easy part, got give it some gas and go. the trick to landing is when your getting close to the ground pull up your handle bars to make your back wheel hit first. start small and progress to bigger and bigger. i remember when i started jumping i watched good riders and looked at there form and body movement. whenever i went off a jump i tryed to mimick there movements.

but good luck anyways, really getting better just comes with a h**l of a lot of practice. if you really wanna get better quick stay off the tracks and only ride in the desert. there always a bunch of little bumps and stuff to jump off.

  8. start off with a few practice jumps(slow ones), and just keep pushing your self. i went to this motocross school in denver a few weeks ago and the instructer said when aproachjing a ramp get ready be on the arch of your feet and when you hit the ramp jump. get on a pogo stick i hear that they help you in jumping.

just remember when your in the air if your front end goes down give it gas, if your front end goes up hit the back brake.
