Can somebody PLEASE explain this magic trick???

I don't have a direct link to the video, but you can find it if you go to this website:

then select "Broadway", then scroll down and click on "Andrea McArdle and Allison Smith on Doug Henning Special". Basically Andrea enters the tube, and Allison Smith comes out of it, but when they open the tube before Andrea enters it, it's empty, and when they open it again after Allison pops out, it's empty. How do they DO THIS???

My guess guess is, they stop film when Andrea goes in, she comes out, Allison goes in and they film again as she's coming out. But that's just my guess. It seems like the only possible way.
