Can somebody explain to me what visine does to make eye shadow pop?

i never understood what visine did for eye shadow. do you dip your brush in visine before applying your eye shadow or what?

  3. It's not just visine, but water or contact lens cleaner ( anything that is safe for your eyes if it were to get into them)

    Wetting the eyeshadow powder intensifies the colour pigments. It makes them appear deeper - like anything that is wet. When it rains that old grey road looks almost brand new and black! The same thing with the eyeshadow making it pop more.

    Yes you dip your brush in the visine ( or any other solution that is safe for your eyes). If you put it in your eyeshadow directly you'll ruin it.

    Best results are loose powder eyeshadows not pressed. It will be easier to get the shadow out and stick. The wet shadow has more staying powder aswell.
