  3. Just model yourself. In detail, sing and wash with them (or next to the sink in their vision if only one sink is available). To the tune of "row, row, row your boat" sing the following and simultaneously scrub your hands. "Scrub, scrub, scrub your hands, scrub them to their clean. Around the back, around the back, fingers in between. Thumbkin here and thumbkin there. Scrub, scrub, scrub, scrub germs go down the drain."

Doing is always better than stories. Good luck.

  4. I don't know any websites but I do know a song that we teach that helps.  Try this (to the tune of Frere Jacques):

    Tops and bottoms,

    Tops and bottoms,

    In between,

    In between!

    All around my hands,

    All around my hands,

    Rinse them clean.

    Rinse them clean.

To do it as a group activity to teach the song, use hand lotion and tell them to pretend it's soap, then make sure adults model and supervise during hand washing to get the children to wash for a longer period of time.

You can also use the standard ABC song ending with

Now I rinse my hands real good

And dry them off, like I should.
