Can somebody help me understand RA 9504?

Does employee whose earnings is below 10,000.00 a month but fall above minimum wage earner in region where he is assigned would be still considered as exempt from withholding and income tax? For example my daily wage rate is P350 higher than the P320 minimum rage in our region but i also fall on statutory minimum wage earner whose salary is less than P10,000.00 a month..... please help me out.....

  2. yes, you will be subjected to income tax since your salary is higher than the statutory minimum wage in your region.
