Can somebody help me with my credit report?

I had several medical collection bills that were on my credit report. These medical bills were incurred due to an auto accident and my insurance was supposed to cover them so I never even knew I owed money. Anyway, I recently found them on there and even though they were scheduled to be removed from my credit in 2009 - I decided to dispute them. I just checked my credit again today ( 4 months after disputing) and seen that the collectors put them BACK on my credit as if they were NEW collection claims. They are now scheduled to stay on until 2015. How is this possible? Can they do that to me? I didn't think creditors could resubmit your account to collections when it was so close to being removed? I don't know what to do, but I certainly don't feel this is fair.

  1. Per the FDCPA all debts are not allowed to re aged, would file a complaint against them and it is a 1K fine payable to you for each infraction.  File the complaint, with them, contact your congressman who will file a complaint with the Attorney General also possibly getting their license revoked

  2. Have you contacted them personally?   Did you dispute them using the letter of validation?  If yes, they are illegally re-aging your account.

Demand that they reset the original date of delinquency to the original date or you will report them to the FTC.

  3. large amounts owed are often purchased by other collection agencies.  It's time to get tough.  Sorry, I don't have the addresses, you can find them online, but you need to write letters explaining all this to all three credit bureaus.  You should also be in contact with the insurance company that was to be responsible for the payment of these items.  They should also be writing letters to the credit bureaus on your behalf.  Keep copies of the letters, and I recommend sending them via certified mail, so you have a name of a person that signed for them, and if things don't resolve, you'll need to contact an attorney who will probably threaten the insurance company with a lawsuit.  Good Luck!
