Can somebody help me with this pc??

Question

I accidentally clicked on some antivirus (xp 2008), what's so annoying is there are 17 viruses scanned from it & i tried to remove it but it won't work. So i tried deleting xp 2008 since it's not free. But then again it still pops from the under right corner of the screen! Can someone please help me?? & how to remove the virus??

First of all, know that Antivirus XP 2008 is not a real antivirus but a trojan.

The easiest way to fix it is using Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware (Turn off system restore, Download it, update it, do a full scan, and remove everything it finds).

I would also recommend the following programs to make sure that you don't get infected again in the future:

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Avira AntiVir Personal

Spyware Doctor Starter Edition

XP anti virus is itself a fraud software that is a virus.. I believe you got this

anti virus from a pop up window which says that your computer is infected

or your windows files are corrupt.That pop up is caused by a spyware or  smitfraud. Now that you fell for the trap and BOUGHT it ,I think that you have let that money go and format your pc as it will soon crash.

BEWARE  . IF YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER THEY MAY MAKE OTHER USES OF IT .

Yea use AVG antivirus ... just google it and its free ... good luck
