Can somebody help me with writing a literature analysis?

I have to write a literature analysis on the book Cold Running Creek by Zelda Lockhart. I'm having trouble writing it because i've never wrote one before. I don't know how to start it and want to include in it. If anyone has read the book or know what im talking about, could you please, if you don't mind, helping me get started and make sure im on the right track. I will definetly greatly appreciate it lots!
