  1. this is normal. sometimes spotting can occur during early pregnancies, at about the time that you would have gotten your period. this happens in less than 30% of women, but you could be part of that percentage. its always best to give your doctor a quick call any time you are a little worried though, they can best answer any questions you may have.

  2. Call your doctor/OBGYN immediately. This sounds to me like it could be a miscarriage. Women don't get their periods when they're pregnant - a period is the shedding of the lining of the uterus, and that lining is in use (by the baby) when you are pregnant. If it is a miscarriage, the bleeding will progress from light to heavier, and you may experience cramps, back pain, fever, weakness and vomiting. However, it is also possible that your urine has blood in it (rather than that the blood is coming from somewhere else). If this is the case, then you could have another health issue like a urinary tract infection or reaction to medications like Aspirin. There's also the possibility that trauma has occurred to your genital area (ie there's a small sore somewhere and it is bleeding). Either way, contact your healthcare provider or go to the emergency room right away - you don't want to risk losing your baby. I hope everything turns out okay :)

  3. thats not your period. you dont get them during pregnancy even though people swear you do. youre bleeding because of another reason...it could be a miscarriage [yes some people spot when they miscarry], it could be just spotting which can be normal in early pregnancy, or something else. if you can go to a doctor to make sure everything is okay. good luck

  4. call midwife / OB/GYN.  You may have miscarried.  This could be implantation bleeding, but I highly doubt it at 5wks.  There are women who bleed during pregnancy, but it's not very common unless there's an underlying cause.  Don't wait-- there may be something you can do.

  5. Exact thing happened to me and it was happening every week for one day for the first 10weeks...every time i freaked out and went to doctors only to be scanned to see a healthy embryo....i think you are fine but please go to your doctor's to check

  6. I would suggest calling your doctor to just let them know what you are experiencing.  They might want to run some bloodwork to make sure your levels are okay.

    Good Luck!

  7. this is usually normal...but the best thing to do is call your doc and just ask one of the nurses about your problem and they will give you the correct answer. dont be shy to call them b/c thats what they are there for.

    =)

  8. Miscarriages tend to be very painful, so that's probably not what it is. My sister in law had her period for the first 3 months of her pregnancy. If you're really concerned then I would make an appt. with your OBGYN just for your own peace of mind.

  9. Well you don't seem to be in pain and the blood isn't heavy so I wouldn't stress to much because that wouldn't be good for the baby. The best thing for you to do is go to see you doctor. They won't think you're waisting their time and it will give you peace on mind, especially with the weekend coming up and doctors are usually shut..Hope that helps and I'm sure everything will be fine

  10. I think you are okay but you should go to your doctor or call them at least to check if they want to test you.

  11. thats what happened to me when i miscarried please go to the er now!!! please listen and just go

  12. Yes you're still pregnant, this could be the start of a miscarriage, or may not be.  I had spotting for a couple weeks when I was pregnant with my second child, my Dr. told me to stay off my feet for two weeks and I ended up with a healthy baby boy!  Try not to get upset, if you are miscarrying, there isn't anything they can do about it, so the best thing for you to do is not worry and stay off your feet.  If you start having bad cramps or the bleeding gets heavy, go get checked.  Best of luck!

  13. you should be ok as long as its not bright red blood. and your not having any cramps so that's a good sign. but you get any of those two then please call a doctor and let them know what's going on.
