Can somebody please identify this weird spider?

There is this spider that made a very strong web on the ceiling of my porch, but I have no idea what kind of spider it is. Here are the pictures I took of it...

That is undoubtedly a Spiny Orb Weaver; probably a female, as the males are tiny and hardly noticed.
