  1. Rā no Yokushinryū

    translated to mean Winged God-Dragon of Ra

    It breaks down like this,

    Ra which is just a name,

    no means of,

    yoku= winged,

    shin=god

    ryu=dragon

    You will notice that the translation is flip flopped in order.  That is because the Japanese language form uses almost the opposite form as English.

    You would pronouce it:

    Ra (raw, and you want to roll it a little, like law)

    no (no, and you want to lean on the o just a bit, no-o)

    yoku (yo (like yo-yo) ku (cool without the l) and say kinda fast.  Like in music, in a half double beat.

    shin (shing (like zing or sing)

    ryu (common error here, it is not rai-you, it is reeyou.  And again, with the r, you want to roll your tongue a bit.  Leeyou.  (as a side note, you would want to chop the "r" a little bit.  Like in Street Fighter, you will here the annoucer say "YOU wins"  or r-you wins.)

    There you have it

    L-raw no-o yoku shing L-r-you
