Can somebody tell me how long the 2008 VMAs last?

Question

I know that the 2008 VMA's start at 9:00, 8:00 Red Carpet, in the US, but can someone please tell me when it ends? Is there a specific time for it to end? I have never watched the whole thing so if someone can tell me that would be really helpful:)

well, they like 11:00 or so, but it always seems to end like 1 hour longer, so its probably like 11:30-12:00

or mabe longer since its live
