Question:

Can somebody tell me how much better this box would be than an enclosed sub box?

  1. i agree with RPM

    the subs will be louder but the actual sound quality will be reduced by alot. it will sound "muddy"

    if you want the subs to get louder, look into ported boxes. these can be tuned and when done right, it will be 3-4 times louder than a sealed box and if tuned to the recommended specs from the manufacture of the subs, you will still have some pretty good sound quality.


  2. It will more than likely blow you subs in that enclosure.

  3. Bandpass boxes will hit harder and louder then a sealed enclosure at the cost of accuracy and sound quality.  So if that's what you're looking for, then this would be the way to go.
