  1. I had the same system..Vista sux,BIG TIME. I hated it.I now am back using xp pro..Throw out vista..its the best thing for it..Noticed how microsoft always have a 2nd version of things? no doubt vista version 2 will be in stores soon

  2. Don't use windows vista it doesn't supports many softwares

    win XP is the best

  3. Take it back to the store and buy a mac with linux

  4. Vista sucks, it's crappy..

  5. Yes.  Remove it from your computer and install XP.

The one nice feature on Vista Ultimate is Dreamscape.  Instead of having a still picture for your desktop, you can have a video.

Vista isn't a terrible operating system, but it's not good either.  You do need high end hardware for it to run properly.  The gagets are a nice feature, I like how you view thumbanils for the pictures it's better than in XP, I like Movie Maker better in Vista than in XP.

The worst things about Vista are:

    1) the interface is very different and takes time to get used to it, everything is moved around, renamed, or both for no reason, but thats not a major problem.

    2) you really do need 4 gigs of ram, a quad core processor, and a high end graphics card otherwise it's just too slow, and all that gets expensive.

    3) the UAC is a pain in the neck, but even that ive gotten used to.

    4) the biggest problem with Vista is it's very bad on a network, p2p isnt so bad, but bad enough, but on a domain network it's terrible, to the point its almost unusable.   You leave computer idle for 30 minutes and it kicks you off the network and you have to restart the computer, even logging off then on again isnt enough, you must do a restart and Vista takes forever to log back in.   Because its save documents differently from XP, roaming profiles dont work well on Vista because server 2000 and server 2003 have a different structure than Vista.

If you are a standalone user, than Vista is fine, and has many nice features not available in XP.  The fact is't not compatible with allot of older hardware drivers is a GOOD thing not a bad thing.   I still prefer XP, it's not as glitzy, but it's faster, works better on a network.

  6. It can constantly freeze on you.

  7. Play games, also more easy to use and looks much better, also as for background images u can change it into something that moves like water fall, leaves, and stuff :)

  8. Watch it crash!!
