There are gibson, Les paul, all different kinds. My dad plays the guitar and we are always lookin at revolver magazines. (they are guitar and music equipment mags) you can go to the guitar center website to see all the different types. Personally, i would suggest a gibson les paul. Theyre really good. You colud also go to some vintage guitar stores. they have great stuff, too.

Acoustic  and electric  mainly but there are also a 4 or 5 string Bass guitar ,Most  regular guitars are 6 string but there are also 12 string guitars .Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin used a twin armed electric guitar with one being a 6 string and one a 12
