Can somebody tell me what Intelligence Analyst do for the FBI?

Well....they analyze intelligence.  'Intelligence' in this case is information...text documents, pictures, voice recordings, video recordings, etc.  For any one topic, it's a ton of information.  An analyst goes through it, organizes it and high lights to good important parts.

Example-the FBI taps the mobs guy phone.  Even for a short period of time, that's a lot of calls.  Say..200 calls a week.  An Analyst sorts through them to find calls with criminal stuff in it.
