  1. To me it's just the name... just like when I was in highschool it was ONLY about Abercrombie. I've always looked for cute clothes not for name brands. Jeans are jeans, you can get "distressed" ones from lots of stores that are less expensive.

  2. some stuff is similar but u can find some nice things there

  3. absalutely NOTHING!

my friend started going crazy about hollister when she was 10 years old and she still is.. i hate it. people are too obsessed with it and it drives me INSANE! they need to get some taste. its just a dumb store where people can get tshirts with the word "hollister" or "abercrombie &&fitch" or something. its pointless.

    help with mine?

  4. It's a stupid fad store and it makes cheap clothing, I hate that store and I too like to dress like an individual, rather than like everybody else.

  5. Nothing is good about Hollister. Everything looks the same and falls apart.

I mean, I could write HOLLISTER on a shirt in huge letter and sell it for twenty bucks. Nothing cool there.

  6. This is asked way too much.

    who cares?

It's not great. But you don't see me whining

hahaha, sorry but you aren't my idol. I see this q DAILY. It's annoying

  7. Its just a status thing. People look at people who wear hollister, and think, 'wow, they have money and style' reguardless of whether its even a cute shirt or not. Its really dumb, I used to shop there and it wasted all of my money, and the clothes are cut for anorexic people, so even the biggest sizes have no room in the butt or b***s. Its all status. Its not that great.

  8. Good question. I wonder the same thing on a daily basis.

I agree completely, I hate having the same clothes as another person. Then you just have to worry if you'll be wearing the same thing as someone else to school, which isn't good. I love being different and having different clothes.

And seriously, people pay money for clothes that falls appart so quickly. It's disgusting!! I'd rather pay twice as much for a shirt that's going to last, and I'm going to be the only one with it.

And to only think that people are so closed minded to only shop from one store. People are so concerned with fitting in it's disgusting. I wish people would realize that it's okay to stand out and be different. It's almost upsetting that people act like that. Thank you for being different =]

And seriously, how is a plain shirt with one word on it cute. I never knew words were cute.

Also, I hate how Hollister and Abercrombie are synonymous for 'rich'. I know tons of people who aren't rich that shop there. More so than people who actually are rich. Oh and I wish people would realize that it's not really preppy either. Places like Ralph Lauren are preppy.

Thank you for wanting to be different =]

  9. THANK YOU! they have some cute things, but why the h**l should I wear the same thing as 1 million other girls out there?

it's ridiculously overpriced for what it is, too.

people are attracted to it because someone started a trend and now everyone's trying to be cool by wearing it.

  10. I'm lost myself

Did you ever notice that almost evrything in hollister can be made at home so easily for just $2?

And the tshirts are actually $5 to $15 but they put their name and logo on itand it suddenly became worthy of $30 to $35... Thank god we don't have these stores here in canada and nobody really knows about it here.

    Answer mine please ♥

  11. i dont like hollister or abercrombie they are so overpriced. aeropostale is better =]

  12. you are my fricken idol. thank you! everyone says that its amazing. they have the same exact clothes every year and its boring. its like dude, shop some where else. you buy the same stuff as anywhere else for ten times more the amounttt!!!!!!!

    thats just me :]

  13. i agree. it's just something people do to "fit in" and honestly all the pressure to wear branded clothing is all in your head. no one really cares. it's not like it's gonna make you popular or anything! it's mainly just this middle school phase [and sometimes continued through high school] that people are in. but trust me, those people will eventually grow out of it.

i used to shop at hollister sometimes, but it's really not that worth it. i mainly shop at forever 21 and stuff. i get better deals and cuter stuff.

  14. There really isn't anything great about all those places. Sure, some of their stuff is cute, but what's the point if like 10 other people are wearing the exact same outfit as you? People just love those stores, because everyone else does, and they don't want to be unique.

  15. I shop there, and I do agree with you though. Everyone wears the same stuff from there, thats why when  I shop there I look for the cute stuff that I like first and I don't go searching for the shirt I saw three people wearing yesterday. Ya know? And no, I'm not a preppy homo.

  16. i think its great because they always have one of those stores around and there clothes is easy to wear. like easy to put together a outfit with. especially when iTS 7 am and its to early to really try to think of what u want to wear. but its lame when people ONLY buy from there. keep ur Options open. Hollister, forever21, Hottopic, tillys, pac sun, zumiez... well u get it. its usually better not to match i meen i think its so    cool when u can mix hot topic and hollister!
