I am trying to use hydrogen gas to supplement the gasoline fuel on my fuel injected gasoline car and I need to know the step by step procedure.

  1. If you are going to supplement you gasoline, and not try to run on pure hydrogen, you can place an additional nozzle to vent hydrogen into the air intake just prior to the throttle body.

However, what will probably happen is that the O2 sensor on the car will detect a change and the computer will try to compensate.  Depending on the map of your ignition, this could cause poor performance and even issues of safety.

The bottom line is:  Unless you are going to do a complete retrofit using equipment provided by a company with experience in this type of modification, you will probably be better off not trying it.  If you do something to your car that is permanent, it may never run right.  If your changes are more temporary, they probably will not be enough to do any good at all.

  2. I agree with Wizard.

  3. They are not compatible. Gasoline is a liquid and hydrogen is a gas. Be careful as hydrogen is the most explosive gas there is.

  4. Wizard is right. Your going to be better off either running the engine on gasoline or Hydrogen not both. I had an F-150 that ran on both propane or gasoline but not both at the same time. That involved two separate delivery systems to the manifold.

  5. You could probably run either gasoline or hydrogen, but not both.  Your biggest problem will be storing enough hydrogen to get an acceptable range.

  6. you would essentially replace the throttle body with a "propane carburetor". you would have to install a throttle position switch though. you may also have to reprogram your computer  to allow for the hydrogen fuel. i agree with the others though in that you are using a dual fuel system simultaneously, which can cause problems. a better idea would be to install the dual fuel system, and use them separately.

  7. I'm waiting for ozzigold or Agua-Luna.com -I LIVE OFF GRID to post their spam here. with this new of a user I'm betting they will be right along any time now.

You'll spend a lot of money time and effort, trying to pipe in hydrogen gas from a compressed tank, with the real danger of causing an explosion, and if you're talking about those stupid devices that take power from your battery to make hydrogen gas, then trust me, they can't and won't work, it's a con to part you from your money, tune up your car, make sure your tires are inflated, and you'll save more fuel that way then you will EVER will with hydrogen gas.

And yes I can go into the math if you wish.
