  1. Anafanil is a tricyclic antidepressant, used primarily for depression, now Lexotan aka Novepam is a benzodiazepine and is used for anxiety and in higher doses as a muscle relaxant.

  2. Anafranil is used for: Treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Clomipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. Clomipramine is used to treat symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) such as recurrent thoughts or feelings and repetitive actions.

Didn't find anything for Lexotan. Came up as Loxitane.

Loxitane is used for: Treating schizophrenia. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

So they are both used to treat mental illness/disorders.

  3. Anafranil is a tricyclic antidepressant, the other name is Clomipramine,  but nobody uses it.  Lexotan is a benzo, it is an anxiolytic, or antianxiety med, it is a cousin of more commonly used benzos like ativan, and xanex.
