Can someome please list the best bands that use acoustic guitar?

Rise Against has a few songs that sound great acoustic. "Swing Life Away" is cool, so is the acoustic version of "Prayer of the Refugee".

I like "Alive with the Glory of Love" by Say Anything on acoustic, too.

hmm. Days of the New did a metal album completely on acoustics. Touch Peel and Stand. It's from the 90s, but they still play the single on rock stations now.

Boston used an acoustic in their layered guitar sound. You can't argue with Boston being rock...

Frankly, using acoustic guitars as the dominant guitar sound in punk or rock is rather faddish. A band trying to search for a new niche usually jumps on the acoustic bandwagon. Good bands who do it are few and far between, and they'll use it more for sound color than for the full sound.
