Please help me. My BF is about to trade in his '07 Toyota Camry (w/ 15,000 miles on it) and his 06 Chevy work van with (18,000) milles on it. He wants to take them both to the dealership now and get ONE vehicle for work and play. Does this sound like a great opportunity for him to get ripped off you you? They are trying to convince him to buy a new Toyota tundra (my guess is because they can't get rid of the things.) What is the smart thing to do here?? I think he should find a used one (who wants them?) Help? What's the best way to get just one vehicle?

  1. Don't trade. You only get wholesale price and gives the dealer too much opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Sell both vehicles to individuals and use the money as down payment on the new car. He might even have money left over.
